We are looking for energetic team players to join our Front of House & Bar Team for this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival to deliver exceptional customer service and to ensure the best possible experience to all of our patrons.

Typical duties will include:

  • Delivering the highest standards of customer service
  • Maintaining an inclusive and accessible environment to all of our patrons.
  • Ensuring a smooth and efficient seating process and assisting audience members as appropriate.
  • Managing queues and addressing customer queries.
  • Serving customers in the Traverse Bar.
  • Clearing and maintaining Front of House and Bar areas.
  • Processing customer payments.

Our ideal candidate will be a team player who is able to work on their own initiative and has a keen eye for detail. Having an aptitude for problem-solving you will also be able to think on your feet. You must have a love of the arts, a passion for excellent customer service as well as a commitment to inclusivity and accessibility. Experience in customer service or hospitality would be advantageous, but is not essential. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.

This is a temporary position for the period of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Full shifts will be offered from 1stto 25th August 2025 with an additional training shift in weeks commencing 9th and 16th June 2025. There are no guaranteed minimum hours, however from 1-25 August we expect to offer a minimum of 18 hours per week.

Rate of pay is £12.60 per hour with a pro-rata paid leave entitlement equivalent to 32 days per annum FTE.
