Get the inside story on Declan from director, Lorn MacDonald

News 2 Sep 2020

In this podcast interview Debbie Hannan, our Co-Artistic Director Designate, speaks to Declan director, Lorn Macdonald, about the film and the process of creating it.

Declan is a new short film created by Lorn Macdonald - a BAFTA award-winning actor making his directorial debut on the project - which takes on class, culture and appropriation and is based on original text from the Traverse smash-hit Mouthpiece by Kieran Hurley.

Last week during an interview with Janice Forsyth, host of BBC Scotland’s The Afternoon Show, Lorn was unfortunately cut off several times due to Wi-Fi problems. In this podcast, Debbie and Lorn pick up the conversation where they left off.
