Today, as TravFest24 comes to a close, we want to mark what has been a vintage month of fresh, innovative and inspiring theatre.
This August has brought vast recognition to our work, and that of our valued partner companies, through sell-out performances, award wins aplenty, forty-six 5 star reviews and more than 34,200 tickets sold.
An unheard of 70% of the eligible productions within our programme won the coveted Scotsman Fringe First Award, highlighting outstanding new writing within the festival landscape.
Our late-night comedy show, Natalie Palamides: WEER was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Comedy Show - the second time since the pandemic, with the first being Liz Kingsman's One-Woman Show in 2022.

Touring
What better way to see the festival off than to have various of our wonderful companies off on their travels, so that more audiences across the country can experience the joy that has graced our stages this month. This Autumn A History Of Paper makes its way on a Scottish Tour with its first stops at Dundee Rep and the Tron Theatre, My English Persian Kitchen and Natalie Palamides: WEER head down to Soho Theatre to dazzle and entice and Cyrano will capture the hearts of many when it joins the Park Theatre's winter season.
With that, we send our heart-felt congratulations to all that have made TravFest24 as much of a success as it has been. Our utmost thanks also goes to our audiences and supporters without whom we couldn't deliver our programme championing artists and platforming stories of tomorrow.
