The second-round of the Scotsman's Fringe First Awards took place today, with two more of our Traverse Festival shows making the coveted award winners' list.
Established over 40 years ago to celebrate the best new work at the Fringe, we're delighted to win two of the awards on offer today.
The winning shows are The Patient Gloria, a rock-out, feminist smash of a show written and performed by Gina Moxley (Gina Moxley and the Abbey Theatre in association with Pan Pan Theatre) and the breath-taking Until the Flood, written and performed by Dael Orlandersmith and directed by Neel Keller (Arcola Theatre).
In total, #TravFest19 now has 5 Fringe First awards under our belts having picked up awards for How Not to Drown, Enough and Rich Kids: A History of Shopping Malls in Tehran at the week 1 ceremony. You can read more about that here.
The awards were presented this morning at the Pleasance, in the second of four rounds to be held in August. Congratulations to all of today's winners. Read the list in full here.
