Herak/Bulatkin Quartet feat. Paul Towndrow

Herak/Bulatkin Quartet is an electrifying ensemble that brings together four distinct musical voices, flourishing within the vibrant Dutch music scene.

Co-led by the extraordinary vibraphonist Miro Herak and European rising star pianist Daniel Bulatkin, the quartet draws inspiration from a rich tapestry of influences, blending original compositions with a deep connection to Slavic heritage and Central/Eastern European folk traditions.

Their latest recording, The Simple Things, featuring the legendary saxophonist Seamus Blake, earned the prestigious "Best Czech Jazz Composition" award in 2024. A special guest for the evening will be alto saxophonist Paul Towndrow.
